To say it had been a tough year would be an understatement. We were glued to our media devices as we all experienced a world-wide pandemic, state and country shutdown.
Through it all the team at Em-Media has been working for our clients. Although we shifted to working from home and zoom meetings, our clients needs were always forefront. We are getting through this together and we will succeed and continue to grow our clients as we set our sites forward to a prosperous New Year!
CHRISTMAS IN JULY?
This season will mark the first time in 24 years Em-Media will not be hosting an annual Christmas party. With the numbers going up, it is simply not safe to have the celebration we would like to have.

IMG Energy Solutions is making history at the Pittsburgh International Airport by building a first-of-its-kind electrical microgrid that will completely power the facility by summer 2021 and will result in increased redundancy for electrical systems as well as enhanced cost savings.
The design of the microgrid, which will be built, operated and maintained by IMG Solar, is about 80 percent complete, and the main electrical switch gear components are currently being procured. The facility is unique because not only will it power both terminals, the airfield, the Hyatt hotel and a Sunoco gas station, it will be fueled in part by the airport’s own natural gas wells drilled on-site and nearly 8,000 solar panels covering eight acres.
The microgrid is expected to produce more than 20 megawatts of electricity, the equivalent of powering more than 13,000 residential homes. The airport’s current peak demand is approximately 14 megawatts.

Thanking God 2020 will end soon, looking forward to a better New Year!
It would be easy to cry and sing the blues as loud as humanly possible, but to what outcome? As a result of the coronavirus, we all have suffered to some extent in 2020. We witnessed first-hand family, friends and associates suffer loss and despair previously unthought of pre-Covid! Business staples of our communities have closed and many others are hanging on by a thread. Em-Media would fall in the latter category. I would love to paint a rosier picture but that would not be true.
